The lineup of gardening television programmes for 2014 sees some of our usual stalwarts joined by some new formats and faces.
Great British Garden revival
In this series of 10 programmes, a selection of top television gardeners attempt to inspire the nation to save Britain’s rich gardening heritage
Currently airing on BBC2, the series finishes Tues 4th Feb 2014 but some episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer for a while.
Gardening show packed with good ideas, tips, advice from experts and timely reminders to get the most out of your garden, whatever its size or type
Returns to BBC2 on Friday 7th Mar 2014 at 20:30. (Except Wales).
Beechgrove GardenThe Beechgrove Garden is Back for it’s 2014 season on Thursday 3rd April on BBC2 Scotland and on Sunday 6th April on BBC2 network
Although programme times have not yet been announced, keep an eye on the Beechgrove Garden website for updates.
Grow, Cook, Eat: The Great Allotment Challenge
Following on the success of the Great British Bake off and Great British Sewing Bee, Fern Britton will host a new six-part series with nine couples growing and hoeing their crops in a bid to be named the nation’s best gardeners.

BBC coverage of the RHS Chelsea Flower show
From May 20th – 24th, the BBC coverage of the RHS Chelsea Flower show has been revamped and with the resignation of Alan Titchmarsh after 30 years of hosting the broadcasts from the prestigious flower show, it will now be hosted by Sophie Rayworth and Monty Don.

Alan Titchmarsh and team return to ITV on 24th June to transform gardens across the nation with lots of useful tips and advice
Great British Gardens
Alan Titchmarsh will also be presenting a 3 part series on Great British Gardens and a one hour special on wildlife gardening.
