A new report by the Royal Horticultural Society says “school gardening boosts child development; teaches life skills and makes kids healthier and happier.”
An RHS website, supported by Waitrose has been created for this campaign and has valuable content for teachers and students.
The RHS Campaign for School Gardening aims to encourage and support schools to develop and actively use a school garden. As part of the campaign they will provide teachers with resources through the website and an extensive programme of CPD days.
Why not organise a free school visit to one of the four RHS gardens?
