Patio Potatoes
One of our readers experimented this year by growing potatoes in a tub on the patio. At the end of August, after the stalks had died back, he emptied out about 8Kg of tubers. Southport Flower Show 2009
Thank you to all those who attended our presentation "Gardening with Injury & Disability", at the Southport Flower Show over the weekend. It was refreshing to see that a show of this size could still keep a local focus, with the amateur growers tent packed with prize winning home grown vegetables and floral exhibits.
